Revolver shooting at FRPC is a healthy and growing competitive activity. We are an affiliated club under the International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts (ICORE) and hold local matches at least three times a year. This discipline shares similarities with IPSC, but shooters are restricted to using Revolvers.
Participants in this discipline must be holster-qualified. If you are not a member of FRPC, you will need to have a current Black Badge or be a current member IDPA or USPSA. If your credentials / training have lapsed, contact us and we will request that you demonstrate basic action-shooting safety skills before you can participate in a match.
If you are a member of FRPC, you need to have had holster training as above, or shoot CQB, or have shot regularly on Tuesday night / Sunday morning ‘Summer action-pistol format’ on C-range.
If you wish more information you can look at the Canadian ICORE website (https://www.icore-canada.ca), the main ICORE website (http://www.icore.org) or contact us by email (paul@ravenforge.ca / rdbrown@dundurn.net).

The Frontenac Rifle and Pistol Club Board of Directors has determined that the Club can accept 60 new members per year, to cover our normal membership attrition and allow for a manageable increase in membership.
Groups of about 20 new members will be invited to attend one of our introductory sessions, spread out during the year, according to their position on the waiting list. Normal sessions will occur around April, July and October.
The waiting list will be computerized and will close automatically at 120 applicants and re-open when the number of applicants falls below a certain threshold.
